Ever since Baby Buttercup was released by Stamping Bella I have always wanted it! Well, nothing is changed I still want it and don't have it. I will have to get it soon. Once of my gals over at the Stamplicious Yahoo Group was kind enough to send some out for me to play with. It just confirmed what I already knew.....I NEED IT!
It is not a great picture, or card for that matter. For some reason yesterday the creative juices weren't flowing.

Do you love taking oodles and oodles of pictures of the kids? I love just taking off to the park just to take pictures. Seeing what I can do with them and letting the kids have some fun. We went for a walk around the park around our house about a month ago and we had so much fun! I took over 100 picks in about 2 hours! It was great and I love letting the kids take pics too as there prespective is always different from ours.
So, I am on a trip lately to use up alot of my stuff before I can start buying more. It is working a bit. Now that school is out and I am not homeschooling anymore I have WAY more time to craft. The other day I was going through my pics and I cam up with this great picture on my hard drive. So I altered it a bit, and turned it black & white because the possiblilities are endless with those colors. And I started digging thorugh my patterned paper and this is what I cam up with.
What do you think?

Over on the yahoo group Stamplicious we have a monthly Homepage Card contest. This month we had to show our "Patriotic" side. Tammy wanted us to use an image of our choice and use the colors RED, WHITE and BLUE. These aren't too "Patriotic" for me as I am Canadian. So here is what I came up with:
I figure she is pretty "Patriotic," What do you all think?
Supplies:
Cardstock: It Takes Two (Red, Navy)
Stamp: Sugar Nellie (Sweet 'n' Sassy)
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Copics, Ribbon (from stash)
If you would like to join in on all the fun and prizes (which I am sure alot of you would love to do) then come check us out at the Stamplicious Yahoo Group.
Happy Stamping & Inky Hugs

So I managed to get 9 layouts done and 4 cards. I thought I was doing good but
some ladies actually got like 30 layouts done! Wow.... that is super organzied
scrapbooking. I could never be that organized.

Well, I attempted to keep up with the gals on SCS with the VSN (Virtual Stamp Night) this past weekend. I so far have one challenge done. But I will definately be trying to participate more and more with the VSN's. They are truly great.
This is the challenge put on by 1busymomof2 over at SCS. The challenge was called Double Down. (MAY09VSNA) You can read about the Double Down here.
The challenge was to make 2 of the same card with a Vegas theme. Here is the only stamp I have that reminded me of Vegas! What do you think?
You can check out the other entries for the Double Down Challenge here.
Have a great day!

Where has the time gone? I have been absent for over a month. Well where was I you ask? I packed up everything and moved. That is a chore......I am still tryingto find stuff and moving day was April 15th. I sure do not plan on doing taht again anytime soon.
Should we do a quick catch up on life? Well I am doing good actually started crafting again...with way more room! Yeh!!! Trevor is quickly finishing up his homeschooling and getting ready for the summer and Taylor, well, she is another story. Remember way back n October hen see was really sick? And last Febuary when she broke her ankle? well, taylors luck as you would have it still continues. She has now dislocated her kneecap! If it is not braced it pops out of place 3 to 4 times a day! Painful eh? Try watching it.
So how was Mother's Day for everyone? We spent a nice afternoon down at White Rock beach and then had a nice family dinner at a great resturant.
A shot from the dock.
So I am assuming all you crafty ladies out there made something special for your mother. Guess what so did I! I picked up this package at my LSS and made it up.
Well that is quite a catch up. I will hopefully posting again on a regular basis. Also will be starting my House Mouse Challenge blog DT work again!
Inky Hugs!
